Matthias Barth on the GAIA Advisory Board

At the annual meeting of the peer-reviewed scientific journal GAIA, our President Prof Matthias Barth was appointed to the scientific advisory board.

GAIA is positioning itself as a place to discuss the sustainability transformation. GAIA is advised by a scientific advisory board for the further development and sharpening of its profile. Experts from the sustainability sciences contribute their expertise and experience. This includes suggestions for improving the journal's processes, but the advisory board members also provide insights into new trends or important topics in their field. The scientific advisory board also ensures the identification and updating of important topics and issues.

As a new member, Matthias Barth is looking forward to contributing the perspective of applied sustainability research and, in particular, to giving the important field of education and learning processes a voice on the advisory board.
