The HNEE city campus - one of three university locations, with a pond biotope, modern art and university buildings in various architectural styles.
The Alte Forstakademie in Schicklerstraße on the HNEE city campus, a former two-storey residential building, was built in 1793. After remodelling, it housed the state forestry academy from 1830.
The Neue Forstakademie in Schicklerstraße on the HNEE city campus was built between 1874 and 1876 as a new administration and lecture theatre building in the neo-Renaissance style.
Outdoor events are also held here in summer.
The HNEE Forest Botanical Garden is one of the oldest gardens in Europe and is a central unit of the university.
