New web maps for forest ecosystem services

New web maps for forest ecosystem services (FES) are available on HNEE's Arcgis servers.

The maps show both biophysical information of different ecosystem services in Europe as well as ecosystem service innovations and policy strategies to promote their provision, which were identified within the Horizon 2020 project InnoForESt. These include, for example, erosion control, pollination, habitat provision and recreational services as well as product, market and service innovations. The migration of the maps to the HNEE server was carried out by Forest Information Technology (FIT) student Laura Karimloo under the supervision of Frank Torkler and Mirella Zeidler.
