Digital University Information Day: Get to know HNEE online

Digital University Information Day: On Saturday, 16 January 2021, the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (HNEE) will provide information about its degree programmes online. Professors, students and alumni of the university will provide first-hand information in live programme presentations and live chats. Whether questions about study programmes, opportunities on the job market or how good it is to study and live in Eberswalde - prospective students can find out all this and much more during the webinars or in the chat.

Following the successful launch of the first University Information Days in June 2020, all those involved in and supporting HNEE are ready to present a comprehensive digital programme to all interested parties. Videos and presentations by teaching staff will give a first impression of the 20 degree programmes currently offered at the university. Interested parties can also find out more about student life online. At hit.hnee.de, the degree programmes of the four departments of Forest and Environment, Landscape Management and Nature Conservation, Wood Engineering and Sustainable Business will present their diverse and in some cases unique range of courses. In addition, the service teams, who also look after students during their studies and help shape campus life, will be online and answer questions from interested parties in live chats.

"The first digital university information days were extremely well received last summer. We will continue with this online format in the future in order to provide prospective students with an additional source of information to complement our traditional Open Day, which usually takes place on the first weekend in June in conjunction with the Eberswalde City Festival," says HNEE President Prof Dr Wilhelm-Günther Vahrson.

The Student Services Department is available for personal counselling - either by e-mail or telephone.
