New: Practice diary for organic potato cultivation

The Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (HNEE) is launching a new multimedia format on organic potato cultivation in cooperation with the editorial team of the internet portal oekolandbau.de and the Julius Kühn Institute (JKI).

Every two weeks, "diary entries" in the form of podcasts, video contributions and interview series with renowned cultivation consultants as well as discussion rounds between practitioners, scientists and other stakeholder groups will be posted on the eco-blog.

The aim of the practice diary is to provide a holistic presentation of organic potato cultivation, covering all activities relating to potatoes from variety and site selection to preparatory field work, seed preparation and planting, the various care and plant protection measures through to harvesting, storage and marketing throughout the year.
