EIP-Agri Innovation Award 2024
The Brandenburg EIP project "Precise Liming in Brandenburg" (pH BB) won the EIP-Agri Innovation Award 2024 in the "Digitalisation" category.
There were 240 applications for the EIP-AGRI Innovation Award - 30 funded projects were nominated, including innovative projects on digitalisation and sustainable business models. pH BB uses digital tools and methods to improve soil fertility. Important soil properties can be quickly and almost precisely recorded and improved at low cost. The project was carried out by the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (project coordinator), the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy e.V. (Leibniz-Institut für Agrartechnik und Bioökonomie e.V., ATB), the Leibniz Institute of Vegetable and Ornamental Crops (Leibniz-Institut für Gemüse- und Zierpflanzenbau, IGZ) and five practice partners.
